The main picture is of Lily Allen the picture is quite a provocative pose. Lily is only wearing a pair of high waisted shorts and black tights. Just left of the picture under the title it say’s ‘SEXY BEAST’ this is relating to the main picture. We know it is the main story because it is the main spread on the front cover. Lily Allen is written in two different colours but the same font ‘Lily’ is in black and ‘Allen’ is in White.I thik this is quite effective because they compramise eachother and where her name has been place over the top of her picture it is more likely to grab our attention. They have stuck to four main colours on the front cover, Black, White, Blue and Red. These are all very eye catching colours, this will attract the younger readers.

Analysis of front cover
I like the colour’s I have used I feel they tie into the theme of my magazine very well. Also the colours of my font are quite contrasting against the background colour I have used. Also the colours I have used are bright and quite bold this will be eye catching. The title also tie’s in nicely with the colour scheme with an aqua blue which stands out against the royal blue background. Around the main picture there is a faded border which draws our eyes towards the picture. I feel wih the picture I could have maybe made the boat stand out more and worked around that more.

The title is bold how I wanted it to be, I have used drop shadowing to emphasise the name of the magazine. I am quite pleased with the name of the magazine I feel it ties in with the theme quite well, hopefully this will be catchy to grab the readers attention and draw them to the magazine.

I think I have managed to get the layput to look quite professional, there are no big gaps and most of the space has been used. There are no big white spaces I have used colour just too make sure all the white is coloured I felt the need to do this because I felt it would be plain otherwise.
